The Perfect "Pear" and Brussels Sprout Salad
This sweet and savory salad is fresh and light and sure to please! This salad "pears" perfectly as a side dish at your holiday gathering. This dish is kid-tested and mom-approved!
Ingredients
- 3 cups shredded Brussels sprouts
- 1 large pear, diced (approx. 1 1/2 cup)
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the pear, Brussels sprouts, and all other ingredients and mix until well incorporated.
- Serve and enjoy!
