Pasta Primavera in Spaghetti Sauce

Pasta Primavera II in a bowl
Makes: 4 Servings

This recipe is quick and easy to prepare and will become a favorite in your home.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups pasta, uncooked
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar low-sodium spaghetti sauce
  • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Add frozen vegetables during the last 5 minutes of cooking time.
  3. Drain pasta and vegetables and set aside.
  4. Bring the spaghetti sauce to a boil over medium heat.
  5. Stir in the pasta and vegetables.
  6. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

May substitute any type of pasta for the rotini. Do not overcook the pasta and vegetables. Maybe substitute other types of canned or bottled Italian sauces.
