Pear in Orange Sauce
Sweet and simple, this warm and cozy dessert is the perfect end to a fall or winter meal.
Ingredients
- 4 pears (medium)
- 3/4 cup 100% orange juice
- 4 teaspoons sugar
Directions
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Peel the pears and cook in a double boiler for 15 minutes.
- Mix sugar and orange juice and cook over low flame for 5 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes.
- Place steamed pears on individual plates. Pour 1/4 of the juice mixture over each and serve.
